I did my research when I bought this to use both as a computer monitor and for watching movies. It is excellent for both and had the highest color output with longest lamp life in it's class. The screen is 106 inches wide and the projector comes close to filling the screen depending on the zoom. It is motorized and matte so easy on the eyes for computer use. This is the ultimate monitor. Unfortunately I just moved into a new place and it is too small to suit. Combined they were $1800 and taxes. The projector has 366 hours on it and almost all computer time. The bulb will last up to 4000 hrs before needing to be replaced on the power saver mode it is currently set at. Comes with a handy remote. and ceiling mount I paid an additional $80 for.
