These beds are manufactured from logs harvested from the BC pine beetle killed trees. This is a fantastic use for this material. The beds are ready for your box spring and mattress. They are shipped in two packages - the head board and foot board in one package that weighs about 250 lbs and the rails and cross boards in another package that is 80" long and weighs about 50lbs. The posts are manufactured from 6 x 6 solid wood pieces - all of the beds have a blue stain appearance created by the pine beetles. There is no value like it anywhere in solid wood bedroom furniture. Your choice of stain colour will personalize this furniture and make this a lasting treasure. Any colour is available. The picture shows "natural" stain.
Double size is $575, Queen size is $675 and the king size is $775. Add 5% GST and 7% PST to all prices. Payment can be made by cheque or money order. Beds are priced this low because shipping will be expensive from the East Kootenays where the artist lives and produces this furniture. Shipping is extra and will be arranged on a "collect" basis. Delivery is 2 weeks from receipt of payment.
