EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Kitchen Assistant Program Instructor College of the Rockies Creston Campus is seeking an individual who can organize and deliver a four week Kitchen Assistant Program from provided curriculum. Program is to run from February 24 - March 20, Monday &ndash Friday, 8:30 am &ndash 4:30 pm. Minimum five years in chef, sous chef, or executive chef position. Red seal journeyman cook considered an asset but not required. Experience supervising or working with individuals who may have limited skills, lots of patience and adaptability to help learner succeed, preferably someone with teaching experience, could be formal, volunteer or work related teaching. A professional instructors diploma an asset but not required. Familiarity with all aspects of a commercial kitchen operation, working knowledge of all equipment, and preventative maintenance.
