Shelter: BC SPCA - East Kootenay Animal ID: 494888 Birthdate: August 16, 2016 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Meet dazzling Daisy, a very lovable Husky who was surrendered to our shelter because she was not getting along with a small dog that also lived in the household. Daisy has lived outside her whole life so will need some work on building confidence inside a home. She has made incredible progress during her time in shelter and we believe that Daisy would love to spend more time inside with human friends. Though she is nervous inside, once outside Daisy becomes a much more confident pooch - she loves people and enjoys cuddling so much that she often forgets that she isn't a lap dog. She seems to get along well with other larger dogs and may be fine sharing her home pending a meet and greet, but due to her high prey drive Daisy will need a home without small animals. Daisy can sometimes be shy when meeting new people but quickly warms up, especially when being pet and brushed. Daisy is looking for an active home, with a family that wants to bring her on outdoor adventures to help her slim down and stay fit and healthy.
