$1,350 · Professional couple seeking a peaceful new community

Hi, we are two people with two dogs looking for a quiet peaceful place to call home. It might be a cabin on a lake, a small house on the edge of town or a walkout basement suite in a quiet neighborhood. Risa is an artist / crafter and Ray does international sales and other entrepreneurial work. Much of our work is done from home which allows us the freedom to occasionally move and experience new places. The dogs are in the entertainment industry - lazing around most of the day waiting for an opportunity to grab attention! Actually, Lucky is thirteen and has been on almost a decade of adventures with Ray when he was a wilderness guide. Cedar is only six but has built a solid reputation of being the ham of the party with his high fives and extremely soft ears. We'd love to find a community that suits us just perfectly. Until then we spend a few years at a time getting to know the area before making any decisions to move on. We don't need a lot but here are some features we'd like our new home to have: - Secure yard for the dogs (fenced back yard or forest) - Two bedroom (or bed + office) - Fast reliable internet - Strong cell service - Peaceful, quite, bright, friendly (neighborhood and building) - Walking distance to amenities would be nice if your place is in town Our last move was to the Okanagan three years ago but the summers are too hot for Lucky. He's the black husky. We thought his fur may adapt but he's still having a tough time. So, we're on the search again for a small friendly community where he (we) can find a bit of relief from the hot arid climate. We are not partiers nor are we involved in drugs. We have ads in a few locations across the country and we are more than open to almost anywhere in Canada that meets our needs. (Neither of us have lived in the Maritimes!
