Qualified Professional (Celgrow Application Program) Mercer Celgar is one of North America's newest and largest single-line sustainable softwood kraft pulp mills, located in Castlegar, B.C. Mercer Celgar is part of Mercer International, which owns and operates a total of four best in class softwood kraft mills, a sandalwood mill, and a sawmill. Celgar's Environment team has the following opportunity: Qualified Professional (QP): Certified QP (ABCFP, ASTTBC, P.Eng, RPBio, RPChem, etc.) to manage the Celgrow Application Program. Celgrow is a pulp mill waste residual consisting of nutrients, fiber, and lime that qualifies under the Code of Practice for Soil Amendment with the Ministry of Environment (MOE) for land spreading. Management and ownership of this Program includes interacting with land owners, soil sampling, and completing the applications for MOE approval. Part-time, work throughout the winter and nearly full-time work April to October Ideal candidate will work from home with regular site visits to land owners and Celgar todeliver samples for testing and coordinate delivery with our Logistics team.
