Kootenay Christian Academy is now accepting applications for the position of PART-TIME SCHOOL COUNSELLOR General Job Description: The primary responsibility of the School Counsellor is to provide support services to students. The role is comprised of four major areas: counselling, consultation, coordination, and education. The school counsellor works with teachers, administrators, parents, and community agency personnel to support the emotional, social, spiritual, and academic well being of students. Qualifications The successful candidate must agree with KCA's Mission and Vision Statement. He/She must hold an MA degree from an accredited post secondary institution.
