We are seeking a dynamic Operations Assistant to join our team. This role is full-time and we offer competitive wages, benefits and pension plan in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Scope: This position is responsible for the coordination of all company fleet, equipment, yard and building maintenance-related tasks while in close communication with the Operations Manager & Yard Hand. This includes scheduling equipment maintenance, inspections & certifications, and ordering parts to ensure the safe operating condition of all Boundary Electric vehicles, equipment, small tools and safety apparatus. Key Functions: Schedule & manage all maintenance, services, certifications, and requests for company fleet, yard & building maintenance with approval from supervisor Coordinate to ensure that maintenance & services are performed satisfactorily Review maintenance and inspection checklists completed by operators and drivers Maintain asset list as per requirements of the Accounting department Order relevant parts & assist with other purchasing Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role Strong computer & administrative skills with ability to multi-task Strong communication skills, written and verbal Tenacity to follow up on outstanding items until resolved Commitment to personal accountability, safety & organization Please submit your cover letter, resume & references to careers@boundaryelectric.com by October 2nd.
