Salary: $90K – $100K DOE Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm Benefits: Profit sharing program eligibility 3 weeks vacation Standard group extended health insurance Lots of room for career growth Primary Responsibilities: Building prototypes from the design phase using minimal drawings Working closely with the Engineering and Sales teams from concept to testing phases Upon design finalization SPM assumes project management role taking the project through prototype building, testing and commercialization Review and proof of engineering documents for projects Working closely with the Engineering team to implement technical / mechanical changes in real time Ensure operating documentation is available for each service prior to launch and field testing Test run procedures and trial period parameters for each project Test stand management – safe and efficient operation in collaboration with Production, Engineering and Sales teams Ensure compression test package testing is completed according to predetermined time lines Documentation of test stand checks for each project Final sign off of start-up criteria prior to shipment Work with Engineering and Service to participate in the design and performance review of existing technology to develop improvements and upgrades Troubleshoot issues with new and existing technologies as needed Skills and Abilities: Must be a mechanically savvy hands on leader of projects Ability and vision to take the lead on a project with minimal supervision and without a drawing Knowledge and understanding of compression systems, compressors and combustion engines Project management Technical and mechanical design Manufacturing process improvement Demonstrated planning and organizational skills while managing multiple priorities A confident decision maker Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written Strong work ethic and professional attitude Must be legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship Calgary is a vibrant city located within breathtaking sights of the Canadian Rockies.
