Kawakubo Sushi Sake Steak is looking for a cook at our Revelstoke location to join our growing and energetic team. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, organized, and passionate about food and customer service. Responsibilities: • Prepare traditional Japanese dishes including rice bowls, teriyaki dishes, and tempura • Select, order and receive food supplies as required • Work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure the service standards are met • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Qualifications: • Completion of secondary school • Min. 1 – 2 years’ experience in the kitchen • Ability to produce assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Be able to work a flexible work schedule including days, nights, and weekends Terms and Conditions: Terms : Permanent Hours : Full time (40 hours per week) or Part time Salary : $16 - $20 depending on experience If you meet above requirements and interested in the position, please e-mail your resume to kawakubo.admn@gmail.com Kawakubo Sushi Sake Steak 109 First Street East, Revelstoke, B.C.
