Position: Room Attendant s Job Type: Seasonal Full Time and Part Time Positions Available Salary: $17.88-$19.90/Hr Job Purpose:Under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor, this position performs to the highest standards, a variety of heavy and light duties associated with the care and cleaning of the Hotel Rooms . You would ensure that damage to rooms and equipment are reported as soon as possible through the right channels . This position requires a strong commitment to guest satisfaction with respect to cleanliness and an understanding that special services, such as the delivery of cribs, rollaway beds etc, may be required based on guests needs . You would also be required to co-ordinate effectively with Maintenance, Front Desk and other departments as necessary. Qualifications : You are energetic, tidy, organized, a team player, a positive force, fun to be around, self-motivated, and reliable.WHMIS training and physical fitness would be considered assets. As a Room Attendant you: * Have an eye for details and enjoy excellence in cleanliness * Are a quick and precise worker * Can kneel, bend and move with ease all day * Enjoy working on your own or with a partner * Are available to work any day between 9am – 5pm * Are always courteous, kind and helpful with our guests and your co-workers * Understand customer service excellence * Communicate with co-workers and managers via our APP * Are a bit of a handy woman or man to keep cleaning equipment in good working order Application Process : Consideration will be given to those submitting a cover letter and an updated resume clearly stating how they meet the qualifications.
