Position:Emergency Medical Call Taker Salary: $32.60/hr In the Emergency Medical Call Taker role, you receive inbound 9-1-1 calls, gather critical information from the caller and use approved protocols and systems to assess the patients while calling upon dispatch to send the appropriate resource. During the call, you may be required to deliver life-saving instructions using a computerized triage system. With an emphasis on great customer service and excellent patient care, your role will be to gather all essential information from the caller as quickly and accurately as possible. In order to achieve this, the EMCT must think fast, be empathetic to the caller, multi-task and be able to extract information under high pressure.
