Position: Confined Space Attendants and Heavy Labour Personnel Salary: $20-$22.50/hour + overtime Irwin’s Safety is hiring Confined Space Attendants and Heavy Labour Personnel for jobs in a variety of industries. Qualifications * Labouring experience is an asset * A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from site is an asset * Basic computer knowledge * Minimum 18 years of age * Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items * Must be clean shaven * Must be able to pass lab-based D&A test * Must speak and write English fluently * Must provide own ankle covering steel toed boots * OFA 1 considered an asset but not required Responsibilities * Participate in all pre-job and daily tailgate meetings * Participate in “Work-site Hazard Assessments” * Responsible for performing light & heavy labour duties * Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (sometimes up to 12 hours) * May be responsible for confined space activities and record entrance(s) and exit(s) on log sheets * Operate two-way radio to communicate as required * Monitor hot work activities and know how to operate fire extinguisher, inform designated authorities, and safely evacuate the area in case of emergency * Monitor atmospheric air quality using electronic gas monitor devices * Wear respiratory protection where necessary * Communicate all hazards and unsafe conditions to your SupervisorApply: https://hubs.ly/Q02vpbtN0 Company: Irwin's Safety Industry Salary: $20-$22.50/hour Contract: PERMANENT
